Overtime Rules

BACK

Overtime rules:

  1.  2 minute run time OT period(s) will be played until there is a winner at the expiration of the clock.

    1. The possession arrow will determine possession at the beginning of an OT period.

    2. No timeouts; unused timeouts in regulation will NOT carry over to OT.

    3. No substitutions (except in between OT periods and for an injury)

    4. Stop time only at free throws and during an injury. Injury stoppage must result in a substitution and can not be reversed. The player MUST be substituted if the clock is stopped due to an injury.

    5. Any attempts by players and coaches, on or off the court, to delay the inbound pass and restart play will immediately result in a Technical foul (coach or player T, depending on the referee's discretion) and stop the clock.

    6. All fouls will carry over from the fourth quarter for all OT periods.
