Overtime Rules

Overtime rules:

  1.  1 minute run time OT period(s) will be played until there is a winner at the expiration of the clock.

    1. Possession at the beginning of an OT period will be determined by possession arrow 

    2. No timeouts, unused timeouts in regulation will NOT carry over to OT.

    3. No substitutions (except in between OT periods and for an injury)

    4. Stop time only at free-throws and during an injury. Injury stoppage must result in a substitution and can not be reversed. If the clock is stopped due to an injury, the player MUST be substituted.

    5. Any attempts by players, coaches, on or off the court, to delay the inbound pass and restart of play will immediately result in a Technical foul (coach or player T depending on the referees discretion) and stop the clock. 

    6. All fouls will carry over from the fourth quarter for all OT periods.

 

  1. OT periods will continue until a winner is determined

    1. There will be NO intermission between OT periods.
